About Persimmon
45small online utilities, built so you never have to download a single-purpose app, hand your email to a marketing funnel, or upload a sensitive file to a stranger's server again.
What Persimmon is
Persimmon is a single home for the small jobs that come up every day. Merge a couple of PDFs. Compress an image before emailing it. Format a chunk of JSON. Pick a color. Generate a QR code, build a CSS gradient, run a regex, decode some Base64. The kinds of things you usually solve by typing a question into a search engine and clicking the first three sketchy results.
Every tool is free, every tool works in your browser, and every tool is built to do one thing well. There is no upsell, no paid tier, no "upgrade to remove watermarks."
How it works
- No account required. Open the site, use the tool, leave. We do not ask for your email or your name.
- Your files stay on your device. The vast majority of tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your PDFs, images, and text are never uploaded to our servers.
- Supported by advertising. Persimmon is free because of the ads displayed by Google AdSense. Ad revenue is what allows us to keep building new tools without charging anyone for them.
- Built for speed. Every page loads fast, works on any modern browser, and is designed to feel good on mobile.

Who runs it
Persimmon is operated by Wymzy Industries LLC, a small software company based in El Dorado, Arkansas. Wymzy Industries builds focused web tools for small businesses and individuals — Persimmon is our consumer-facing utility site.
We are a real, registered business with a real address and a real human reading every email that comes in. If you have a question, a bug report, a tool request, or a complaint, we want to hear it.
Privacy as architecture, not policy
A privacy policy is a written promise that the operator will behave a certain way, and you have no way to audit whether they followed it last Tuesday. An architectural guarantee is different. It is a property of how the code runs.
Most tools on Persimmon never see your data because they cannot — the processing happens inside the tab you have open. We could not access your file if we wanted to. The blog has the long version of how that works for the PDF tooling specifically.
The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service fill in the legal details.
