1. Who we are

Persimmon is a free collection of online utilities operated by Wymzy Industries LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Arkansas. The service is available at persimmon.tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Persimmon, you agree to the practices described here.

2. The short version

• We do not require an account, a password, or any personal information to use the tools.
• Most tools (PDFs, images, text, design, developer utilities) process your files entirely in your browser. Those files never leave your device.
• We collect anonymous usage and performance data to keep the site fast and to fix bugs.
• We display ads served by Google AdSense, which may set its own cookies. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Files you process

The vast majority of Persimmon's tools (including all PDF, image, text, design, and developer utilities) run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. They stay on your device throughout the entire process.

3.2 Anonymous usage data

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to collect aggregate, anonymous information about page views, page load speed, and which tools are used most often. This data is used in aggregate to improve the site. It is not tied to any personal identity.

3.3 Error monitoring

We use Sentry to capture client-side and server-side errors. When an error occurs, Sentry may record technical context such as your browser version, operating system, the page where the error happened, and a stack trace. This information is used solely to diagnose and fix bugs.

3.4 AI chat assistant

Persimmon includes an optional AI chat assistant powered by Anthropic. When you send a message, the message text is forwarded to Anthropic's API to generate a response. We assign your browser an anonymous session identifier (stored locally) so that we can apply rate limits and prevent abuse. We do not associate chat content with any personal identity.

3.5 Advertising

We display third-party advertisements through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Ad revenue is what allows us to keep every tool on Persimmon free.

4. What we do not do

• We do not require user accounts, passwords, or personal information to use the tools.
• We do not sell personal information to third parties.
• We do not upload the files you process with our client-side tools to any server.
• We do not use your files or chat messages to train AI models.
• We do not build our own advertising profiles about you. (Google AdSense may use its own cookies for ad personalization — see Section 3.5.)

5. Service providers

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate Persimmon. Each provider only receives the information it needs to perform its specific function.

• Vercel — Web hosting, serverless functions, and anonymous analytics.
• Neon — Lightweight PostgreSQL database used for anonymous chat session identifiers and rate limits.
• Anthropic — AI model provider for the chat assistant. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic to generate responses.
• Sentry — Error monitoring service.
• Google AdSense — Display advertising. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies

Persimmon itself uses minimal cookies and browser storage — limited to anonymous chat session identifiers and basic preferences. Third-party services that we use, including Google AdSense, may set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings or opt out of personalized advertising at the links provided in Section 3.5.

7. Data retention

Files you process with our client-side tools are never sent to our servers, so we have nothing to retain. Anonymous chat session identifiers and rate-limit data are retained only as long as needed to enforce abuse limits, typically no more than 30 days. Anonymized aggregate analytics may be retained indefinitely because they do not identify any individual user.

8. Security

• All traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS / HTTPS.
• Database connections are encrypted.
• The vast majority of file processing happens client-side, meaning your files do not transit the internet at all.

No method of transmission over the internet is one hundred percent secure. We implement reasonable safeguards, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Because Persimmon does not require an account and does not maintain personal profiles, the data we hold about any individual user is extremely limited. If you believe we have collected personal information about you and you would like to access, correct, or delete it, contact us at info@wymzy.ai and we will respond within thirty (30) days.

10. Children's privacy

Persimmon is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@wymzy.ai and we will take steps to delete it.

11. International users

Persimmon is operated from the United States. By using the service, you understand that any data we process may be transferred to and stored in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Third-party links

Persimmon may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
